Designer Jewellery

The talent of this inspirering designer seems to be endless!
Today id like to show a bit more of the creative imagination and skill of this Artist, Mr Daniel Icaza.

Daniel enjoys working with all types of mediums ranging from from graphite to gold.  Along side being a very capable Metalsmith Daniel creates, paintings, drawings, mixed media works, jewelry, sculptures and objects for contemplation.

I admire the  use of different styles, techniques and materials, making his work exquisite

In his first large international exhibition Daniel Icaza received the “Leonardo Prize for Applied Arts: Second Place” for His  participation with work from his  Monetary Bondage series.

The festival was an artistic showcase of money based art projects.
Daniels website is loaded with his work, information, his creations aswell as tutorials .

Today id like to highlight a little of his work with pendants

Daniel was inspired to create this sculptural pendant (wow)
Narcissus, Daniel Icaza, 2012, Sterling Silver, Mirrors, 12.5ct Yellow Corundum

The engineering  alone of this piece must have caused Daniel some headaches
but im sure youl agree am amazing piece of craftmanship.
Picta Fenestram, Daniel Icaza, 2012, Fine Silver, Sterling Silver, Brazilian Agate

Another exquisit piece
Cristallum Spectro Incantamen, Daniel Icaza, 2012, Sterling Silver, Quartz Crystal http://danielicaza.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/cristallum-spectro-incantamen.html
labor intensive to make, because Daniel  fabricates each chain by hand, next
each crystal needs to be drilled by hand and have its' bezel specially fabricated and designed to fit around each crystal's unique characteristics.
